rejection doesn't come easy. but at some point or another in our life, we all probably have to come face to face with the harsh reality that things do not always go the way we want.
one of the lessons in life is how to stand up again after losing our footing. it may just be a slight tumble. it may be a nasty fall. whatever it may be, however difficult it may be, we have to learn to wipe away the tears, grind our teeth, bear through the pain, get on our feet and continue our journey. Rejection is a roadblock. do not stop at it. it is not the end. open your eyes and look around you, other paths are awaiting. Disappointment. we dun wanna be accquainted with it but when our paths are crossed, be brave and look it in the eyes. acknowledge its presence but do not linger. do not let it hold you back in your pursuit. who do not prefer being a winner over being a loser. but just cos you're not won the race doesn't mean that you've lost. losers are those who do not even try. (lesson from Little Miss Sunshine) so keep on trying. be not afraid of rejection. what does not break us will only make us stronger. |
