work vs leisure

was contemplating going in office today to clear up some work. still a lot of things left undone. but after breakfast, i decided. what the heck? already i've dreaded going to work mondays to fridays, why should i sacrifice my saturday morning. besides, if no one else (read: my dept) bothers as much, why should i? if things can't get done on time, so be it.

so looking forward to the trip. i don't even care much about finishing up my work before going. work can wait. it's only 3 days. nothing urgent. if they can't survive, it's not my problem.

will i feel refreshed and energised after the trip? i dunno. but i know that when i'm back, i'll still need a new job!!!
