Monday, December 11, 2006since my bangkok trip
for those who want an overview of the trip, check out yamosh's 'bangkok from the eyes of a pampered singaporean'. (pls note the pampered singaporean is her hor, not me!!! lol)
attended colleague's wedding. got cheesed off on the monday back at work. which reaffirmed my desire to find a new job and get away from the office. i had thought that the short break will be of some help to my downward spiralling spirit at work but i came back with no more motivation than the day i left. and the things they did really got on my nerves. saw Mayday upclose. they really rocked!!! so happy. only blemish was that *beep beep* gal behind me who asked me to sit down cos i was blocking her. DUH. it's a rock concert not a classical music concert. *beep beep* anyway, glad we got to go to the standinga area and enjoyed the rest of the show.yeah! blocked nose. itchy throat. thursday, it's off to the doctor. mc. rest at home. heck to work. yeah! xiuyi's wedding. got to see so many friends that i've not seen in a while. pleasantly surprised to see ah mer & shiyunn too. =) back to work on sat morning. since i wasn't around on fri for the preparations, i wondered what went on. well, what happens when your boss insist on things her way? chaos. what else? apparently, many things were not properly prepared and ready, and were still packed in the room. so it's a mad rush as we suddenly realised this and that is 'missing'. today, continued to be disillusioned with work. sometimes little things really just peeved me. morning asked me boss about who she wants to send christmas cards to, and she was almost dismissive. said just send to some of our designers... plzzz. no business assoicates, etc you want to keep in contact with, maintain relationship, so that people remember you...? anyway, i decided that we should be more pr (isn't that what's our department about?) and set out to do my own list that came to a good 70 plus. i showed her the list and asked her to add on whoever she wants. then she added some names. when i pointed out that mktg had already sent out to some on her list (i did my homework!) and if it's necessary to send from our side again, she was like okie then, watever. watever wat? then at 5+ pm, she said she need some things tomorrow. it's quite last minute. and yet she couldn't decide exactly what and how she wanted it. *faint* sigh. |
